Plans and credit packs are bought in the Linota app on iPhone or iPad, through the App Store, not on this website. Prices are the App Store's in Germany, including VAT; the App Store shows the final price before you buy, and subscriptions are changed or cancelled in your Apple account. The yearly price per month is shown only to compare: a yearly plan is billed once a year. Dictionary meanings are free on every plan. Paid learning credits reset on the first of each month (00:00 UTC) and do not roll over. Saved learning stays available until you delete it or your automatic deletion setting removes it.

What learning credits pay for

Learning credits pay for what Linota writes for you: a study note uses 1, an addition to a Pro note 0.5, Prepare a situation 4, a custom reading 5 or a writing task 5, a mission from your words 8, Situations 8 and a listening episode 20. Saving words with their dictionary meaning, review cards, every game, playing with a friend and reopening anything you made use none. Free starts with 20 credits once. Basic gets 60 and Pro 120 each month; they reset on the 1st and do not roll over. Credit packs you buy never expire and are used after your plan's credits. If something cannot be made, nothing is charged: a failure on our side or a topic Linota cannot write about uses no credits.
